In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
If you need a particular length contact us or write it down in the comments when ordering. The modification is free.
For a child you need a length of 15.5cm with an extension chain of 3cm to shorten it to 12.5cm.
For a generous wrist you need a length of 21cm with an extension chain of 3cm to shorten it to 18cm.
The size of a ring is the circumference of your finger in mm. For example, if your finger size is 44mm then the ring size is 44.
When ordering a wide ring, don't forget to add a size. If you are doing a 52, you will need to order a 53 for a large ring.
Here are different methods to find your size, do not hesitate to test several of them to see if you always arrive at the same result.
It is advisable to take this measurement at the end of the day, because the cold tends to shrink the finger.
Measure the circumference of the finger
You can measure the circumference of your finger. To do this, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Wrap a non-stretchy string or a 1 cm thick strip of paper around the second phalanx, at the widest point of your finger. The string or the paper must not be too tight or too loose because in both cases, the size raised will not be the right one
Step 2: Mark where the string or paper intersects
Step 3: Lay the string or paper on a flat surface
Step 4: Measure the distance from the end of the string or paper to the marking. This distance corresponds to your finger circumference.
Step 5: Record the measurement on the ring size correspondence table and determine the size of your ring
You can use a tape measure instead of string or paper, which will make the task easier because you will get your finger measurement straight away.
If the finger size is between two sizes, it is advisable to take the larger size.
Make sure to measure your finger without getting too cold or too hot and rather at the end of the day.
Measuring your finger circumference is a good method of determining the correct ring size. In addition, this method is economical and easy to do. However, to ensure the correct size collected, do not hesitate to repeat this method several times.
In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.
Measure the diameter of a ring
If you already have a ring that fits your finger size, you can use this ring to find your size, by following these steps:
Step 1: Place the ring on a flat surface
Step 2: Measure the diameter of the inside face of the ring. For this, the rule must join the left inner face and the right inner face of the ring. Be careful to measure the place with the largest diameter, and to keep the ruler straight.
Step 3: Enter the diameter in the ring size correspondence table and determine the size of your ring
Use a flat, metal ruler for a more accurate measurement
If the diameter of the ring falls between two sizes, it is advisable to take the larger size.
The measurement cannot be 100% reliable because it is not easy to determine the place with the largest diameter. Just shift a millimeter, and the ring will not be your size. So take all the necessary precautions to measure your ring and do not hesitate to redo the measurement several times to get the right size.
Use a printable ring sizer
The printable ring sizer is available for free below:
Click on the image to obtain a printable file and check after printing that the scale measures 50mm (right click then display the image).
Try to match the circles drawn below with the inside diameter of your ring.
To make sure you have taken the correct ring size, and that the printed ring sizer is in the correct size, do not hesitate to repeat the operation several times.
This method is simple and easy to do, however, it is reliable only if the printed virtual ring sizer is in the correct format.
Use an adjustable plastic ring sizer
This is arguably the best way to find your ring size, as this ring sizer has several advantages:
A 100% reliable and precise measurement: no more comparisons with the naked eye, worries of measurement or the actual size of the virtual ring sizer. With the plastic ring sizer, the measurements are already printed, you just have to rely on these measurements
Ready to use: no more practical work, the ring sizer can be used right away
Long-term use: unlike the virtual ring sizer, this ring sizer is reusable. You can reuse it for the next measurements or to measure the finger circumference of your friends
Please note, not all countries use this system. France like other European countries use this system where the size of the ring is simply equal to its circumference. Other countries use a completely different size system. Refer to the equivalence table below for more details.
Ring size according to diameter
Use this table if you already know the diameter of your ring but don't know its size. To know how to measure the diameter of your ring refer to the guide above.
